Lot 3422 PAIR OF LARGE TEXAS RANGERS PHOTOGRAPHS.
Both 8"x10" on larger boards (Texas Rangers under Capt. Monroe-1917). 5 rangers wearing gun belts and pistols; not all rangers carried single actions. Ranger JA Harwick is wearing a Luger, other rangers are O. C. Dowe, Jeff Vaughan, W. B. Matthews, & Ira Cline. The 2nd photo is of 4 rangers taken at Michigan Court House May 1919, at Henry Ford libel trial; all with cowboy hats & boots, 2 are wearing gun belts under their suit jackets. Rangers are O. C. Dowe, Marcus Hines, Tom Mayfield, & E. W. Anglin. CONDITION: good overall, boards chipped, IDs on back light on 1st image. PROVENANCE: Estate collection of Compton LaBauve Jr. (02-26492-3/JS).
